Hey All,
There is so much in my heart that I would like to share, but feel I can't if I don't want my children's lives to be completely public. Maybe it doesn't matter, but it worries me enough that it keeps me from posting. So, I've decided to either take this blog private, or create a new, private blog. I have no problem with anyone who is interested following me there--I just want to be able to know who is reading.
I don't want to quit blogging, because now more than ever I need a place to record what's in my heart. But for the past couple of years my blog hasn't allowed me to do that freely, because I've been too afraid of violating my kids' privacy. So, if you'd be interested in following our journey, go ahead and comment. I'll add you when I make the blog private.

I completely understand your worries about violating your children's privacy - it would worry me too if I was blogging.
I have loved reading your blogs which are always so thought- provoking and written from the heart. It has been wonderful being able to meet my 4th cousin once removed (I think that is right!) and some of your family, to know that we share some of the same roots and a shared interest in exploring them.
I would feel honoured if you would allow me to follow your private blog and keep me in touch with my American cousins.
Private is nice. It's nice to know your audience. Makes me a little more aware. I'll follow-- add me!
Oh, and when you do go private, take off the robot proof!

Oh my gosh, Emily! I find you so interesting, and have since you were two. Of course I want to be added. You have no idea the love I feel for you....for your family, too, but for you as the sweet, kind, considerate, loving, sensitive, and unique Emily that you are. Please include me. You just intrigue me, and always have.
