As an Internet user, I am a taker, not a giver. I always feel a bit guilty about this, but--obviously--not guilty enough to change.
I depend on online help forums to help me solve problems and answer questions about everything from computer issues to adoption issues. But I never go back and answer any questions, or post a thank you. Similarly, I have never been one to post comments on blogs. I enjoy reading them, but something stops me from posting a comment online for everyone to see.
I'm learning my lesson. I'm very grateful to all of you who take the time to leave a word of encouragement, or just to let me know you get what I'm saying (or don't). Especially now. Thanks.

I post on other's blogs... one of my favorite things to do... without thinking about the fact that others will read it. If I think too hard about it, I might not post. I can see that.
Regarding your googling and researching, I was just thinking today how our world has changed so much. I had a canning question and turned to google INSTEAD of calling a friend or mom or sister or somebody that probably knows how to do it, too. Why? It's faster, I can get several opinions at once that then verify which is the best course. I seem to trust the internet more than I trust my mom's answers and sometimes even more than I trust a doctor's. Interesting.
Yes, you're definitely getting me out of my comfort zone with this irresistible chance to leave comments now and then. It's a first for me, so go easy on all my inevitable misspellings, poor Utah grammar, and cheesy run-on sentences. I'm not known for brevity nor wit.
